Jenna Polsky
Clinical Professional Counselor Intern
Jenna grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona. She and her husband lived in many cities throughout the western US until they decided to move to Reno to live closer to family and start a family of their own. Jenna has worked in multiple ‘helping’ industries, including fitness and medical. She ultimately opened her eyes to her passion for mental health when she worked at an outpatient treatment center for OCD, anxiety, and trauma. She is currently working toward her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Adams State University.
Jenna feels it is essential to build the therapeutic relationship based on validation, acceptance, and empowerment. She is excited to help others explore their values, increase awareness and acceptance of the many parts of themselves, and gently challenge their internal dialogues that keep them stuck in a rut.
How I stay healthy: I enjoy practicing aerial silks, skiing, being a foodie, and having fun with my husband, son, and two dogs.
