Ashley Fox

Ashley was born and raised in Southern California within a law enforcement family. She relocated to Reno with her husband just a few years ago. Ashley earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at California State University San Bernardino with a minor in criminal justice. Shortly after graduation, she returned to school to achieve her Master`s in counseling psychology at California Baptist University.
Ashley has experience working with children, adolescents, emerging adults, and adults in various settings. Her experience is mostly with individuals needing assistance managing struggles with special needs, anxiety, trauma, depression, anger, and bipolar disorder. Ashley frequently utilizes Person Centered Therapy techniques to develop a trusting relationship with her patients in order to help them reach greater independence through empathy, transparency, and unconditional positive regard. Techniques from other theoretical orientations, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and play therapy, are also utilized to fit the needs of her patients.
How I Stay Healthy: I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, the great outdoors, and with God. I love working out, paddle boarding, dirt biking, shooting, and going to concerts.
